Hi guys, don’t know if this is right place to post this, but here it goes:
I’m using Prusa I3, and I’m kid of new to 3D printing. I use to get ok-good prints on the start, but not any more. I use Cura, and this settings (pic bellow). So I realy don’t have any idea what to do more. I try to calibrate it as much accurate as possible and tried different settings. Any advice or solution for this problem? (model pics bellow)
Layer hights 0.1-0.2
Printing temp 185-195
shell 0.8-1.2
Thanks!
p.s. I’m using chinese filament which I get with printer.I know that is a problem but not as big as my prints are bad. And I did get some good prints on the start.
Is your filament actually 1.75? Have you checked it with digital calipers? It looks like over extrusion. Plus you are trying to print at .1 which amplifies the problem of over extrusion. If the diameter is closer to 1.8 then the machine is pushing more plastic than it should and causes what you are seeing. Try upping the diameter or lowering the flow rate.
yes it is 1.75. I dont have right now digital caliper unfortunately. I try to print .1 and .2, and same results. bad print.
It is posible that diameter is closer to 1.8, it’s cheap filament. Prints on pictures are on .2.
I will try to lower flow rate and upping the diameter. thanks
That is what I meant by “wet”. I live in a very humid place. Once the filament absorbs enough moisture, I have to bake it for a bit. I’ve gotten much more desiccant now that I store the filament in. No more bubbling problem.
