@kutoo i am really sorry and sorry for blowing your thread I hope all goes well and I have put many posts that I am sorry about, and hope everyone forgives me and I have posted help

He means that you should not start a comment with “hey buy my printer” when the person just wants help with his project.

Also the person that wants the prothesis didn’t ask to buy a printer, but wanted advises on how to realize the prothesis for which allready plans exsist.

Andy (aswell as I) doesn’t want to see two people argumenting about minor things like that. This is nothing that belongs into the 3dHubs TALK.

Please avoid spamming your printer plans in every single thread, if the thread is not about someone that wants to buy a printer then the person that started the thread is most likely not interested in your indigogo campain.

If you comment to threads then please post something constructive that helps someone.

I’m sorry. Obviously I didn’t make myself clear. I mean that, next time someone asks for your help, don’t try to sell them something. And the next time after that. In fact every time, for the rest of your life. Is that clear enough for you?

I try to be the vice of reason and you mark my message down. Thank you.

Now. Shut up, before you get me angry.

okay thanks for your help and i wont

You’ve said sorry for blowing the thread but continue to carp on. My original message was perfectly clear. In future means just that. From now. Henceforth. From here on in. How many ways must I say it before you understand? It should be a lesson for you. Wants help? Don’t sell. Simple. As for my “insult”. It is regrettable, but sometimes people just don’t know when to stop yapping. I was simply indicating that, in my opinion, you had reached, and overstepped that point.

I’m really sorry that this ridiculous conversation has occurred on your thread @kutoo. Henceforth I will bow out of this thread. I still very much recommend that you contact @Gyrobot and e-nable, both of whom are very experienced in this area of 3D printing.

Hi and many many thanks to all for their advice  and best wishes.

We still struggle with our sons disability. Altho we know it could be worse it is still very hard to think of him struggling to do the things the rest of us take for granted.

He is amazing and does amazing with his hand but as u can imagine I just don’t want him to have to struggle with things and so really appreciate the help and advice received here.

Can’t thank you’s enough. Will look into all the advice this week as have just finished up work for 2weeks.

Thanks again

Hi @kutoo
@martinv77 build 2 prosthetics hand for children. He’s a great guy and I think he definitely will help you! He’s also talks about his experience with building it and helping. Check this event where he will share his experience https://www.3dhubs.com/breda/events/e-nable (sorry it is dutch)
Maybe you can reach him out to help you.

Let me know if I can help you with anything!

Hi @kutoo,

are you also assigned in the enable portal? The process is rather simple and a match can be found in your local area which helps in the customisation and fitting. If that does not work for you I’d be happy to help…

Hi thanks very much Martin.

Do you think the enable organisation would be able to pass on my details to someone who they have helped that is near me… So that instead of just telling my son about he could possibly see and speak to someone that has it for real as oppsosed to showing him pictures or videos… He is only 6 yrs old.

What is your location Kutoo? Country? State? city? if you are close to me I would be willing to help free of charge as long as 3D Hubs is ok with it. but you will need to be close enough for test fits.

Hi kuttoo, as you will start to notice by the other replies, the enable community is very eager to help. I think the easiest way is to get in tough with enable via the “need a hand” page, sign up and get involved. The e-Nable matcher will try to connect you to anyone close…

I am in the UK…

Glasgow Scotland… ??

@kutoo Hey Sharan, wondering if you’ve managed to get a hand printed?? Im an e-Nable maker based in Stirling and would be glad to help! Infact have a 120% size Raptor Reloaded he could try on for size. If you’ve already registered with e-Nable but still waiting on a match I can give one of the european matchers a shout to see if he can find you in the database and get us in touch through the official channels? Or alternatively just give me a message through my hub www.3dhubs.com/glasgow/hubs/squirly
