The print bed temperature of my newly bought DaVinci 1.0A keeps raising above 80°C instead of being fixed at 70°C and continues to rise. Whether I give a calibration commend or print command, it does the same and does not start printing or calibration. Temperature also raises very slowly and I believe the temperature is much higher then it shows in the display by touching. I use DaVinci 2.0 for the last 9 months. It never showed any problem. I bought 2 pieces of DaVinci 1.0 A and both are acting the same.

Sounds like your temperature sensor is broken.
I had issues with the small connector plug on the extruder, the connector wasn’t making contact properly so temperature would read properly or it failed to reach temperature.
If you have already tried an alternate cartridge I would suggest checking the wires
xyz has almost the best tech support the only thing bad is they take a very long time to answer k so I would contact them
It should never be set at 70°C.
I have a 1.0A. It should go to 90°C for ABS. Da Vinci ABS cartridge bed set temp is 90°C. 90°C is almost hot enough to boil water and can cause serious burns. Don’t touch it, it should be painfully hot.
Because of accelerated heat dissipation associated with larger temperature differentials, it takes longer to heat the higher it goes. From dead cold, mine takes several minutes for the bed temp to hit 90°C.
Bottom line… Your Da Vinci 1.0A will print ABS at 215°C extruder and 90°C bed temps.
All of the above is true for the AiO as well when printing ABS

I had the same issue with mine and as I couldn’t wait for tech support to get back to me. I just replaced the black plastic wiring connector with automotive style male and female ends. Works fine now. It made it passed the 180day Warenty before it gave me issues.
Hi I gad a 1.0AIO before both of them the printers bead temp rises up to 90c 1 was very fast the other one was taking is time but both always rise up to 90. I have a 1.1 Plus now and the temp. Rises up to 90c also. Don’t forget the chip that_'s_ on the cartridge tells the system how far the temp should go according to the type of filament that contains inside. Am talking ABS here not sure about PLA.

I have three Da Vinci printers all have had continuous problems.bought an aio and the scanner has never worked, I paid over $300 to ship it back after they drug their feet and jacked me around until the 30 day portion of the warrenty ran out and I was required to pay the shipping out there. when I got it back the scanner still doesn’t work. It has now developed large pot holes in the glass bed. I always let the print cool until it releases from the bed so it hasn’t been abused. Now the same imperfections
have appeared in one of the 1.0 machines. The xyz people say they have numerous reports of this defect. they offer no remedy.
One of the 1.0 machines has been down for two weeks waiting for a replacement exturder. the machines go out of calibration
after one or two prints. xyz said that was because the print bed frame is plastic and reacts to changes in temperature.

I have a Davinci Pro 1.0, and the bed is taking too long to heat up and then it over heats cooking and melting the filament.
Resulting in the first layer being a liquid flat layer on the over heated print bed.j
Any ideas? Anyone? Thanks. -K
