hey guys!
So I have a monoprice 3d the marker architect version (the one with the wooden frame) and I recently updated the printing software to simplify3d its great but one problem my printer bed. For some reason I cannot align the plate correctly it is the one with screws. I hate it, I know there is the jogg mode but I have no clue how that works. Can anyone give me tips or recommend a part that I can purchase so it adjusts the bed automatically. Please guys anyone out there who can help. Im more of a visual learner so if you can recommend me some videos or anything of that nature that will be great. Thank you so much.

As far as the Bed Leveling Wizard, this is what it seems to do: When you start the wizard, it homes all axis. Next step it increases your Z axis to the offset setting (not in front of Simplify3D software at the moment), which defaults to 0.1 mm, and moves to the first leveling position. You use a piece of paper (or something that is the thickness set in the above mentioned offset) and physically adjust your bed height with the screws, until you start to get a little drag. Then click Next and the wizard goes to the next position and repeat. It does each position twice. You set your own leveling spots and also adjust the Z offset if you wish. Hope this helps.

This is the Bed Leveling Wizard in Simplify 3D. I actually have a Mendelmax 3 printer, but I assume in Simplify 3D it works the same for all printers.
I will try this out tonight and let you know my progress. Thanks I hope you dont mind. There is no one else out there that can assist me. Thanks again.

Hey! Thanks for the help, it worked. Sorry for the late reply but the only other issue is im having curling and bad prints. Now I believe its too close. This is a tricky game, either its that or its too hot.

Glad it’s working better for you. What are you printing with? ABS can be hard to stop the curl. (I haven’t printed with ABS yet). What are you putting on the bed? I use 3d-eez for PLA and heated to 60c. ABS needs at least 100c bed temp. Some people use painters tape on their bed.
I print with pla and I do use blue painters tape but I don’t know why it curls is 60c 200 degrees? What is 3D-eese?

60 Celsius is 140 Fahrenheit, that’s the bed temperature. But I see you don’t have a bed heater, from your other post. Here’s the 3D-eez info:

This stuff works good for me on my glass bed.
I am actually trying to purchase a heated plate but don’t know which one will work for my printer. As I mentioned before I have the monoprice printer called the maker architect the one with the wooden frame. I called the company but they were completely useless, any suggestions.

This is a heated bed for the Flashforge Creator, and the Monoprice Architect is the Flashforge Creator. I figured for $15 I’d take a chance on it. Even still, the official one is only $39.
