Thanks in advance!

Hi Zachery, I’d say the cost is around 50-150€ depending on the materials, infill and print quality. I could make an offer for you, if you contact me via my hub at: www.3dhubs.com/siegen/hubs/marius If you use cheaper materials you will need more infill while stronger, more expensive materials will work at lower infill percentages. Please contact me via my hub to discuss this. I could also design custom ramps to fit your local curbstone. I offer over 15 different materials and many colors. For larger projects I can even get new spools in any color, or paint them to your requirements. The new designing would for example include a handle or mount for a stick to put in, that would allow the disabled person to pic the ramps up themselves and place them wherever and whenever needed, without someone to help them. Kind regards, Marius Breuer
Hey Zac, Would you specify where you are located , just so that the hubs in your community could help you out!
Cheers
Hey @Zachary_Weeks, you can always download the file from Thingiverse and then upload it to Online 3D Printing Service | Instant 3D Printing Quotes | Hubs. After you fill in your location, this will result in a list of Hubs close to your home/office, with a quote estimate for each of them. Hope this helps!

Hi,
It’s quite a huge print…
At least 2 days of print time and about a complete spool of filament.
You can try to get a quote using 3Dhubs print service but the volume calculation gives a totally huge price (about 400€/part and you need 2 :).
Based on filament price and printing time I do think the price should be around 75-100€ each… (Beware, I talk about FDM printer which needs filament, I can’t state for other technologies).
Regarding the part, I’m not expert but my concern is “how someone using a wheelchair and using these things will be able to take it back after climbing the step ?”
Hey guys, thanks for the responses. I am based in Edmonton Alberta Canada.
Good question, most people are with someone that can give them a hand… Also trying to figure out a way that they could do this on their own.
Also trying to figure out a way that they can be collapsible and store it easier for transportation on their wheelchair?

Hi Zachery, I’m based in Germany so the high shipment cost would maybe make the printing too expensive at my hub, but I could provide you with the 3d model. The ramps are only usefull, if you are alone and given you don’t have 2 meter long arms, you will have a hard time picking the ramps up. For this purpose I could design you a ramp that can be picked up with a stick. Also a small hinge or similar would be very usefull, to mount the ramps on the wheelchair when you don’t need them. Cheers, Marius Breuer
Due to the size of the part you would be looking at approx. $600

Hi Zachary, It’s me again, I already commented earlier regarding possible solutions. I’m experienced in industrial level CAD programs and can print very large pieces at once. If you want to get a quote for these parts (which wouldn’t be something like 600$, trust me) then check out my hub by clicking on my profile icon. I already have some ideas that I could imagine to work pretty well. Cheers, Marius Breuer
