Hello. My platform will not rise nor will the printer head mechanism move forward or more than an inch or two from the right side of my Flashpoint Creator Pro. I don’t think that there is a mechanical issue since the platform comes up and printer moves to the center when I attempt to level the bed. I would love some advice. Thanks!
Hello, So you’re saying the printer operates normally when you are leveling the bed, but not when it’s printing? In that case, it’s most likely a slicer issue. Check that you don’t have anything defined in your slicer’s custom g-code options that would prevent your printer from moving normally. One issue I had when I was first getting started was in Repetition Host, I defined my homing at (200, 200, 200) but also configured that as my minimum. What ended up happening was my slicer told my printer to go to coordinates in the 300s and 400s when printing, which just forced my print head into a corner and made it stop moving. Maybe your issue could be something similar? Hope this helped, -Karl
Try printing some sample file comes preloaded on sd card. Go with traffic cone maybe. It’s possible that the slicer configurations are not right and possibly the build area is not defined correctly. If nothing works restore to factory setting using lcd on screen menu
