New qidi printer X-Pro

Hello, I am considering a qidi printer (my first 3d printer) and was about to buy the x-tech when I spotted the apparently newly released x-pro for £150 more - it’s a big investment though and I can find hardly any information about the x-pro (no reviews?) just slightly concerning things regarding lack of auto levelling (this may be useful for me as I’m a beginner) - does anyone know anything at all about the x-pro model, does anyone have one and are you pleased with it? Are there any other big differences between the x-pro and the x-tech? Many thanks in advance, any help at all on this would be much appreciated!

Hi, I am running an X-Pro. I also have a Tech-1 and The X-one.

Easy answer is I would go with the X-Pro. It has some nice new features the Tech-1 doesn’t have. Does that make it worth the difference? I think so.

Auto bed leveling is not that big a thing on these. Leveling is pretty straight forward.

I have a Qidi Tech 1 and a new Qidi Tech 2018 the x-pro is essential the Qidi Tech souped up . It has touch screen, WiFi, and a magnet build plate which makes removing prints easier. So I would say if you have the money to spare go with the X-pro. You could get the Qidi Tech I and make updates like Octo print Pi to make it WiFi and touch screen. And you could buy a new build plate that’s magnetic as well. Price out all the upgrades and if it’s less than the X-Pro you could go that route instead. If you want a printer that auto levels go with a pursa i3 mk3.

I have qidi x pro and bibo2 touch laser. Both of them are great printers. Qidi x pro has been improved a lot based on qidi tech 1. It has the touch screen, WiFi, and break point printing after power cut. Bibo has the same functions, and it has bigger printing volume, laser engraver, filament run out detection, and copy printing. If your windows system is 32 bit, then qidi x pro is not compatible. I like the octoprint, but it is not supported by qidi x pro as it has no usb printer port. Both of two printers are stable, and great in printing quality.
