I have some plastic parts that are runner guides for a blind system, they are no longer made, so am looking to get the remaining pair I have scanned and replicated so I can shut my bedroom blinds before it gets too light in the morning!
Anyone have a service that can take care of this? I’m in the Bristol/Bath area.
Thanks

Hi @Nick_69 , you can head over to our Start a 3D Print page and enter your location to bring up Hubs in your local area. If you click on the More filters tab and select 3D scanning , you can then select a Hub that offers 3D scanning services. Click on their profile and then select Contact this Hub , and you can begin discussing your project with them.
I’ve gone ahead and done this search for you in the Bristol area . Good luck!

Thanks.
Have you searched for a STL file for the parts? There are a lot of “blinds” parts out there. Or are you not able to print?

No, might try it, its a very insignificant piece and not from any known brand, but will try. Thanks
Just was wondering. I was able to find one for a clip that hold the valance on at the top of a mini blind. I made another one of the clips for the bottom.
Here is one thing I did. I put the part on a piece of paper and traced it to get a profile (orient the part as needed) then scanned the page to a jpg and loaded that into my CAD program and used it as a template to help build a part.
