Hey everyone,

I work for a nutritional company and had some ingredient scoops printed in Veroclear material (RGD720: A Rigid Translucent 3D Printing Material 91). We want to use these 3D printed scoops to fill orders, meaning that we are scooping protein and other supplement powders with them and then putting that powder into the final products.

I have been told that we will probably need to coat these scoops with a food-grade epoxy or coating, but I’m not sure which kind of coating to buy. It would need to be non-toxic and have no smell. Can anyone provide any guidance on this, or whether we even need to do this?

Thank you!

Neal

The same food grade latex coating that is suggested by the 3Dprinted NSFW projects would be applicable I believe.
