This page says that I should be able to set minimum layer duration in Makerbot Print, but this option doesn’t appear in my version of Print. The only option under the “Printer” heading is Travel Speed. Is minimum layer duration no longer a user-definable parameter?
On Makerbot Desktop (previous printing app) there was a Min Layer duration parameter that NEVER worked for me on a Replicator 2X.
What I did was to print what I named “towers” at the same time, I mean, some kind of boxes with height equal to the overall height of the thing to print, and convenient far from to force a minimun layer duration. This solved the overheating on thin parts of the printed thing.
