hi all hope you can help me i have a CTC dual (black case)
it says replicator firmwear 7.3 when i turn it on
I’m using makerbot to print with but it will only work as USB replicator not the dual replicator as my ctc has 2 print heads

Have you got the right machine selected on the software?
Sounds to me that you need to install Sailfish to get everything ‘lined up’ correctly
For use dual extruder, you can Go To makerbot settings on the printer. You have choose with “single” or “dual”.
if i select dual it will not connect
Try to update the printer software from makerbot desktop.
Maybe you have the wrong firmware on your printer? Try updating the firmware to the latest firmware(7.5) I think for the replicator dual

may be you initialyse your machine ?
let’s try to find the preferences or settings on the pannel of your machine, may be you will be abble to turn on the 2 print heads
