Hi, my makerbot wont work!
It is basically stuck on the first page and keeps blinking because it is trying to build from SD. The M seems to be triggered and it keeps playing the SD card missing sound.
Now I tried many things.
1. I took off the touch pad and it continues to beep.
2. I swapped out my interface and it does the same
3. My interface does not beep on another machine.

4. A brand new interface still beeps on my machine
5. Id` swapped out the wire for the interface and still does the same.
All this leaves me is that the motherboard is messed up? Does anyone have any idea why it is doing this?

Did you try another sd card? I know some time the sd cards can get damaged an read as no card found in the printer

Yes I have, I uploaded the old firmware and it didnt work. So i uploaded the new firmware again and it still didnt work.

I had that same issue a few weeks after I received my Replicator 2x… luckily I was under warranty so I received a new mightyboard… that’s the issue… one thing I could think of suggesting to avoid that issue (microprocessor overheating) is to wire a fan perpendicular to the board to push away the heat (even though heat rises, because the chamber is enclosed, a lot of heat reaches the board)… I have already added a third fan to the double extruder… so wiring another fan isn’t too much of a deal…
