If you want to be added to the list of people offering services in the US, please comment here. Include if you are able to do 3D modeling, what materials and technology you are able to print in, as well as any colors/finishes you can offer.
Please add me to this list. I have a bank of 10 printers, all are FDM. I can print in PLA, ABS, PETG, ‘Special Filaments’ such as wood infused, metal infused, flexible and others – I most commonly use PLA because I can eliminate most warping issues with it. I specialize in parts that can be put into mechanical service immediately. I can do some modeling to correct small issues. I can support print surfaces up to 300x300x300mm. I stock white and natural but can obtain most colors within 24 to 48 hours. I am located in the Washington, DC metro area. Thanks.
I do 3d modeling and print with FDM printers. My preferred plastic is PLA but I have experience with most other common plastics and a few exotics. If you name a color I have it.
I’ve been doing this for a little over 4 years now and have accrued many different colors and types of plastic.
Please add me. I have five FDM printers and can print PLA, ABS, PETG, nylon, flexibles, carbon fiber, wood, exotic filaments in all colors. Located in Saratoga Springs, NY
Hi @keebie81, as indicated in the email send out by the 3D Hubs founders, on this new subsection of Talk, Hubs can freely connect with local makers, hobbyists and students interested to get their projects 3D printed. While this is by no means a full blown replacement of our peer-to-peer platform, we hope we can keep supporting makers, hobbyist and students to keep printing locally.
I would like to add my printing company to your list. I provide solid modeling services, design support, engineering support, and FDM printing services. I have years of experience in manufacturing and creating fixtures and can provide confidentiality contracts for any proprietary knowledge that must be shared.
There should be a better explanation of what is going on here. Services/technology/materials offered…is this not all explicitly covered in our hub listing? Our hub listing which lists all of our printers, materials, colors, and services (such as modeling and 3D scanning). What is up with the redundancy buried in a forum that few hubs visit?
As of Monday the 1st of October Fulfilled by 3D Hubs will be the only option for ordering 3D Printed parts on www.3dhubs.com 7.
We’ve used 3dhubs, not only as a leads generating service, but as a valuable way to find 3d printing providers from the crowd sourcing community. For what it’s worth, your choice to sideline us sucks.
I joined the community because I believed in the power of open sourced manufacturing. We’ve found some truly great providers. The ability to review a hub profile and communicate directly with the owner was unique and valuable. Removing this option will make the community pretty much useless to us.
Would like to hear the opinion of other community members, for whatever it’s worth.
I would like to be added please. I have one printer and it is the Robo R1. This printer can print materials such as wood pls or carbon fiber pla, as well as pla and abs. This printer can print a 10in by 9in by 8in print. And I am new to making designs.
Please add me as well! We offer large scale printing (520x345x650mm) in everything but ABS, plus exotics like wood, metal fill and carbon fiber! Plus we have a 60w laser engraver too! Thanks!
Filament and Resin 3d printing. PLA, TPU, ABS, PETG, ePC, WoodFill(most colors available). Regular Resins (Monocure Rapid, Wanhao, Fun To Do Resins, black, gray, clear and white)
10 FDM Printers and can print max of 400x400x500 for PLA. 2 DLP Printers
My company website is www.hudsondesignlabs.com 69
Before the change, I was one of the highest rated Hubs in my area.
I offer FDM 3D printing, laser engraving and cutting, PCB design and prototyping, and product development services including CAD. I have a large inventory of material that you can see on my website.
Hello, I would like to be added as well. I have an FDM Lulzbot Mini 3D Printer, which is capable of printing a variety of materials. This includes ABS, PLA, HIPS, PVA, Bronze, Copper, Wood, Polyester (Tritan), PETT, Polycarbonate, PETG, etc. Currently, I only have in stock PLA in a variety of colors. These are White, Red, Orange, Translucent Orange, Green, Teal, Translucent Blue, Blue, and Purple. Unfortunately, I am not able to do 3D Modeling. Thank you!
I’m in Berkeley, CA and I have a Formlabs Form 2 printer with various materials. I don’t have a 3D printing company or website, I just want to keep doing what I was doing through 3DHubs as an individual. I have all the finishing equipment and a high attention to detail. I can also do modeling with Fusion 360 and Solidworks. You can contact me at dude8604+3d at gmail dot com. Thanks.
I’m up against a deadline on a job and would like to have you print a couple parts for me tonight. I’m in Marin. Email me at my throwaway because apparently 3DHubs wont even let us message each other anymore? Email me ASAP theshell5519@gmail
My name is David and the job would be a couple pieces, FDM, 200micron resolution in black PLA requiring about a 6X6X6 print area. They take about 3 hours each on my printer and without a time machine, I am not going to make it…
Anyone else in my area who sees this, feel free to reach out as well. I am not going to pull this off without some help and am willing to pay and drive around the SF Bay Area if need be. The print quality/material and ability to crank out a couple parts tonight is crucial though.
Thank you,
David
Also, I offer 3D design as well as FDM printing service in Marin County, CA. Feel free to contact me if you’d like something modeled and/or printed. Just… not tonight.
I am still interested in offering my service printing for people like 3D Hubs was originally set up to do. I currently have 4 FDM printers, Prusa I3 MK2S with MMU, Creality CR10S, Creality Ender 3 Pro, FLSUN Cube, and a GEETECH i3. I also have a smaller Resin Printer the Spark Maker.
As someone looking for a printer partner, this is so haphazard and terrible clunky for all involved. A spreadsheet that organizes all the info would be SO MUCH MORE useful. Here’s one as a starting point 3 in case printers want to fill it in. I think it’d be so much more effective than an endless thread.
This is great! I purchased a domain and my intention was to invite everyone to add their location onto a map. I would list everyone’s business name with a link to their website and sort by location so that anyone looking for a local print shop could check this map. I haven’t done much with it yet and may ask for some help and feedback, but this spreadsheet would be a good starting point for me to get those shops “on the map”. Maybe a column can be added to get permission to be placed on the map on my site. Let me know your thoughts! https://3dprintsites.com/ 23
