low temperature?

step motor missing steps?

gear skidding on filament?

I have the temperature at 200 degrees. There is no missing steps. But there is a clicking noise coming from the area where the filament enters the gears.

dont know if PLA or ABS but it looks like gear is slipping not able to keep the flow.

too much extrusion for the nozle.

I am using PLA as my filament. How could I fix the gear then??

Hi there,

It looks like your nozzle is too close to the bed, and the bed itself isn’t level (the distance is okay in some places, and too close in the areas where you noted the lighter color.

I would recommend re-leveling the bed, and having it be a bit further from the nozzle.

I hope this helps!

proximity with bed is a good answer.

cloging the exit, the filament stays behind.

test the height were filament is failing. is nozzle touching bed? can you pass a paper betwin them?

sliping gear might need some cleaning of the teeth.

This type of trouble often occurs when the nozzle of your 3D printer gets clogged. Also, see that the nozzle of your 3D printer is not to close to the 3D printing bed and the temperature conditions are optimum.
