Here we go again on this topic!
I am looking to add another larger volume printer in the area of 250X250 to 350X350 and at least 200 in height. Probably don’t need more than 250 in height since the platform size is more important.
Thanks for any suggestions or comments on one you already use.

A bit over the stated budget & somewhat larger than your required build volume,… but for the combination of volume against cost, I found the Opiliones 2L a very good deal.

The Crealty CR-10s 3, 4 or even 5 springs to mind with 300x300, 400x400 or 500x500 print beds. It does lack many of your requested features, and I’ve no real idea of reliability, but the price point is such that you could have a couple…
BCN SigMax R17? 420x297mm (x210mm) bed, enclosed, etc. Bit over budget new, but the R19 range has just been announced which might mean you can pick up either a new R17 at a reduced price or a used one more easily… Mind you, also 3mm filament, which is a pain (I’ve looked at these machines but the thought of building up a second stock of filament is quite off-putting).
gMax 1.5? Again, missing some features, but well within budget and quite reliable, I think.
I looked at the BCN but I believe it is a Bowden setup which I would really like to stay away from.
The 3mm isn’t the end of the world since I would only buy filament as a job requires and it would only be for those long run large jobs.

Hmm, yes, the R17 is Bowden. Mind you, at the price/experience point I think their setup works reliably. The UM3 is a Bowden as well and it’s still (allegedly) one of the most popular printers around…
