Incomplete Prints from 3Dscaner

I’m doing this project for school and it’s not printing correctly. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. The .stl file looks complete but the print is ugly and missing parts of layers. I’m new to 3D printing and any help would be much appreciated.

Hi @ironhide929, so sorry to hear about this? We’ll do our best to help! Can you give us more details? Like for example:

• What scanner do you use?
• Are you able to share the actual stl file your’e trying to print?
• What printer and printer settings are you using?

The scanner is a next engine. The printer is the Fusion f306. I’m using pla plastic with a bed temp or 45 and extruder head temp at 215. I don’t see why sharing the file would be a problem but I’ll have to check first. I have two other pieces I scanned to print that did the exact same thing.

You may want to try printing at a lower temperature, and at slower speeds. Possibly something in the range of 185-205 for PLA.
