So i am looking for an impact resistant material to use on a drone. I have come across Polycarbonate, PETT, and PETG. With Polycarbonate, I am afraid of warping. I already have enough trouble printing abs. So when it comes to PETT and PETG whats the difference? Any other materials to recommend? I am printing on a 3mm BCN3D Sigma

Have you tried PLA++? It’s a great material for applications like yours.

Go for HIPS, is the best and suitable material for your purpose. I am an aeronautical engineer and I´ve tried it many, many times with excellent results

I can’t speak as to the other plastics, but polycarbonate is very impact resistant. In sheet form, I can take a hammer to it without it breaking. The mythbusters even use this material in their bullet proof shielding. Polycarbonate aka lexan should not be confused with plexiglass, a brittle acrylic material, as many people often do Polycarbonate filament however, is fairly expensive.
There is also Impact resistant PLA and the Raptor brand from makergeeks. Polycarbonate is a PITA to print. HIPS would work good and has the benefit of being lighter than the others.
It does have high impact as the first half of its name.
I’ve been using PETG for my quadcopter and lots of other prints and it is one of my most favourite filaments. It’s very strong, has great layer bonding, almost no warping/shrinking and not brittle. Don’t know the difference to PETT though, sorry
Try TitanX from Formfutura, that stuff will not warp, prints great and it is tough.
Now, the BEST stuff for impact resistance is Taulman 910, I got a roll of black and it is undistructible!
