I am looking to switch my Flashforge to Igus bearings. It’s worth noting that Igus lists their RJM-01 solid bearings as being for press-fit applications. They will be slightly loose if not press-fit into a housing. For what we’re doing it’d probably be better to use RJUM-01 or RJUM-21 lined bearings.

Im about to do the swap on my ffcp late 2015 edition. The whole gantry/rail system is held together by some injection molded blocks and im not too sure about how to proceed. Do i have to take the printer frame apart to do it? Anyone else done it on that one? Ps. Im being told that if i print ABS then the IGUS swap is not recommended as the fumes create gunk which gums up the bearings. This makes be nervous because thats thr MAIN thing i use it for. Is this true? Also what lubricant could i use with the IGUS if any?
