Hello 3D printing enthusiasts!

I am looking for someone who can print a prototype for a product which includes a chamber that will contain water. Thus the 3D printed model needs to be waterproof.

Anybody who can do this or has a recommendation for a 3D hub?

Best regards,

Tobias

Hey Tobias,

in general most hubs should be able to provide a water-tight part. If you are looking for someone close to you, let us know which country and city you’re in! If you like, drop me an enquiry and we can discuss it there as well.

Sincerely,

Jonas

Thanks for the awesome input, @ItsJustMidnight, and for being so helpful with new users here on Talk. Much appreciated!

@Tobias_10, based on the location on your user profile, I’ve added Aachen as a tag to your thread. This will trigger a notification to all Hubs in your area that can help with your print. In the mean time, have a look at Jonas’s Hub page here, if you need more reasons in choosing his Hub to do your print  Cheers

Hi Jonas,

I cannot find how to choose your hub and to upload my 3D-model for that.

Also the page of your hub doesn’t show any 3D printers.

My location is Aachen (dutch: Aken).

It would be no problem for me, if you would ship from den Haag.

Best regards,

Tobias

Hey Tobias,

sorry, this is my bad. I had already “off-lined” my printers for the Christmas break. That is why my hub page does not show any. If you can select the option to “Contact this hub” (or something along the lines of this), do that, then I would be able to convert it to an order for you once we have things ironed out. If not, let me know and I will temporarily go online for you.

Since I will return to Germany for the holidays anyway, shipping should be even cheaper for you!

Sincerely,

Jonas
