I am completely new at 3D printing and my first design is a 3D Discraft Keychain I created, but when I print the STL file it always messes up on one side of the object. I can print other files though so I have not idea whats wrong. Can anyone help me get this model to print correctly?

First thing is to run the STL through a fixer like “makeprintable.com” to fix any possible mesh errors.
Secondly we would need a lot more info like printer, material, temps, speeds etc.

Appreciate the response greatly. I will try running it through makeprintable.com and see if that helps. I will also post back the specific info you asked for soon as I can.
Thanks again. Just a bit lost on what to do as another keychain I created prints fine and other STL files I have downloaded print fine also.
I tried using make printable.com and it seemed to work fine, but now I can’t open the model up in SketchUp.
If you made it in Sketchup then you would want to use the Sketchup file to open not the STL file.
There is also a new plugin for Sketchup for Makeprintable. I think it pretty much just lets you send the design to Makeprintable direct from Sketchup.
There are some other plugins for Sketchup to help with fixing some basic stuff for 3D printing.

Oh okay, thanks. I will try to see if I can get the repair to work properly and reprint.
Other than that I have no idea why it does what it does.
After looking at the model more closely and getting help from someone else I realized there was a slight angle in the model. This made part of the model float in mid air. This would explain the problem I was having.
I have since redesigned the model and have yet to print it. I am confident it will print properly now though.
