Printer : He3D Delta DLT 180 Printer with autoleveling and heat bed
The filament is constantly getting jammed in the heat sync. It bunches up into knots in various parts of the heat sync, (1) inside the screw from the extruder, (2) inside the heat sync above the extruder screw, (3) on top of the heat sync where the brass screw screws into the heat sync / where the bowden tube feeds the heat sync/extruder.
Extrusion Multiplier
I have tried to reduce extruder multiplier, all the way down from 1.1 to 0.65. But it is still jamming. I guess I can try even lower, or extreme low (say 0.4) and work upwards from there.
But I need to take a break, after unclogging the heat sync like 20x!
Nozzle Diameter
One possibility could the the nozzle diameter is smaller than in the configs. The config files that came with the printer are based on a 0.3mm or 0.4mm nozzle diameter. The nozzle looks a lot smaller than my i3 Prusa nozzle (0.4mm). This may be a problem, I can try 0.2mm nozzle diameter.
The little documentation that came with the printer did now specify this. (I have emailed the vendor to ask).

What kind of filament? If it’s anything but ninjaflex then sounds like you have a really bad heat brake problem. The filament shouldn’t be able to bunch into a knot at room temp. If it is ninjaflex you are going to have a really hard time printing smaller than .04.
I have the same one. The default settings had it printing at 205deg and it kept jamming in the heat sync like you discribe. I ended up turning it down to 195 and make sure the fan is pointed right at the heat sync and always on while printing (fan at 80% or higher). That seemed to fix it for me. Now it only jams when I’m tweaking settings and I forget to turn the fan on.

My Kossel originated from an He3D kit as well and I had the same problems. As @iceman198 said, if you are using their filament try to turn the temperature down to 190-195 deg max.
Are you cooling the heatsink? If you are using the fan that came with the kit, I strongly suggest you to use this shroud to direct the airflow, it is a huge improvement to start with. My initial troubles with jamming were caused by insufficient cooling of the heatsink.
As your nozzle starts to jam less, I also suggest you to go with a full-fledged cooling solution like my mount (it is modeled after the hotend that came with the He3D kit itself).
TL;DR: keep the heatbrake and heatsink cool!

Did you check if, when you print your nozzle is not toi close from heat bed causing extra pressure inside nozzle or if the température that you using is enough high because spools need different temperature from distributor to distributor and also check if your fan give enough air flow to prevent heat going up.

Thanks everyone for all of your help and suggestions. I tried running at lower temps (@iceman198 @nmaggioni ) and this seems to be the problem.
I had it run a 3 hour print overnight, it didn’t complete (!) but it nearly completed and there were no signs of jamming. I need to further investigate when I get back from work.

I tried that Filament in my extrude and it jammed too. no reason it just Jammed. flowed for an hour then Jammed Clogging up the Cogs and rollers in my extruder it is labeled as an experimental filament. the outer coating sluffs off during extrusion causing clogging and prevents the Hot end from melting the plastic.the extruder becomes hopelessly jammed I had to replace the nozzle and clean out the Barrel with a torch.
Another tool you might want to buy is a torch tip cleaner. to unclog your Nozzles.

With a delta printer you have a bowden setup for the filament. What you can try is to oil the filament so it wil smootly run trough the PTFE tube. Using regular household mineral oil works perfect. And don’t print to hot.
