Best compliments for the choice, you bought a great machine!

All the best

Hi, I’va a DeltaWsp since February and works very well.

Do you have any specific problem with it?

Hi Myrza

The easiest is to know, what you like to print and in which material. Just feel free to send an object and we can shortly explain you how you can get the best result.

I think in the end it all comes down to getting your hands dirty and asking for help when needed.

Is someone here willing to do share the printing process on their Wasp, to walk @ through it? Cheers

Thank you all for your response! I am very happy you would like to help. :)

Maybe the best thing to do is to contact you when i do my next printing session.

And ask specific questions.

I have trouble understanding how to level the print bed the right way.

But I will contact you when i start printing and can communicate exactly what i’m doing.

Hello myrza, yes sure! Tell me what you need. I work in wasp

However for leveling just go to the menu, prepare, manual leveling, and move the position of the extruder 1,2,3 and finally 0. To adjust the plan once positioned the extruder into the desired position (eg position 1 ), you have to turn the adjustment wheel at the bottom. Turning it to the right lower floor, while lifting it to the left. To find out if you have to raise or lower, you can pass a sheet of paper between the extruder and the floor. The sheet must pass quite accurate.

Hi,

Thank you. The levelling works if I print out he sample gcode files Wasp gave to me on the SD card. But if I want to print out other files from my laptop using Cura, the bed is either too high or low. I think I have to figure out my Cura settings. They are probably not accurate. But I am not sure how to do it.

Do I need to put the data in manually, or is there a way to download the data in Cura?

As I have tried many times now to manually adjust Cura with the configuration data Wasp gave with the printer, with the help of the Guida Cura PDF. But It it is not working. Probably because I don’t understand the data yet, and the PDF Guida Cura explanation is all in Italian.

Hi, you can upload the setting in Cura. Unzip he file, from cura you open the ‘file’ menu, click on ‘Open rpofile’ and then point to the ‘Configurazioni_Delta 2040.ini’ in the folder you unzipped before. What release of Cura you’re running?

Hi, I am running Cura 13.06.5. Thats the one Wasp gave me. So I kept that version and did not upgrade it.

I suggest you update to version 14.12.1 care, and load settings machine as I told you

Hi all!

Just got our WASP 2040 Turbo (white). Had issues using the supplied filament, with it causing the entire printer to lock up and forcing a power cycle. Installed Monoprice PLA and all is good now. Anyone else have an issue?

Also, am using the default WASP ini file with Cura. Anyone have a good ini file or better settings to use? I am very happy with the quality of the print, but worried that the WASP didn’t detect filament flow error.

Anyone else out there with a WASP 2040 Turbo?

Hello All,

I just receved delivery of my 2040 yesterday, hoping it’ll prove a good investement, I’m new to using these machines and would like to know where to find the best

support/tutorials for it, any suggestions?

~The problem I’m having is trying to print the honey comb braclet test file supplied by WASP, the Makerbot Gnome seems to print fine (I stopped the test at 35%) but

this “Honeycomb braclet” fails once it begins the first link sections, they never seem to connect or stay connected to the base support structure it prints first, why might that be?

Theres a video of this print timelasped by another user here : - YouTube 7

For ref my print fails at around 12 secs in this video, the half the bits don’t stick to base. I’m using the same supplied material and havn’t changed any of the settings apart from bed levelling.

Any and all info appreciated,

Myrza, how did you get on? …useful tutorials for using the Delta WASP 2040?

Thanks,

Dara.

Hi,

I just received the new LDM clay extruder.

It was suggested I change two wires in the motor as otherwise the screw rotates the wrong way. I just did this, but now the extruder does not want to go to auto home without a horrible noise. I have changed the zmax to various settings but it keeps making the noise.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Thank you!
