Getting orders?

Hi all!

I love the idea of 3dhubs! Been having my hub for about 2-3 months now probably, I’ve had some friends ordering some stuff, but not a single quote or order. I think my hub is pretty up to date with pictures, prices, etc. Is it really this bad? I dont think my prices is to high either compared to others. Maybe this market is not mature yet in Stockholm?

Any tips?? would love to get this started, just to print stuff for people, I dont really care about profit… Im printing totally useless stuff 24/7 now hehe

I believe your prices are not correct. For example for FilaFlex @ 200 microns small Marvin is 145,60SEK that is almost 1700USD which is insanely high
I think you need to replace “,” with “.” in your pricing otherwise your hub will not show up in the searches specially low-high sorting.

I’m not allowed to do that kind of formatting so that’s not it, sorry I wish it was that simple hehe

that’s the problem. It has to be a dot in the middle not a comma. When it’s comma it’s like 14560 not 145.6
Did you check other hubs in your area and their price listing?

Yes they look the same, all comma everywhere. When adding filament types all I get to choose is a number, and then it says: SEK per print, so I cant choose what formatting to use really.

Hey @3dverkstan, glad you enjoy 3D Hubs! It’s difficult starting off sometimes, particularly in an area with a lot of hubs that have many reviews. My advice to you would be to ask your friends to review you when they order prints. You might want to also check out other hubs’ pricing (in your area) and potentially adjust yours to be competitive.

I wouldnt say that my area is that populated with hubs, there are a few more but not that much, and my prices is pretty much down to zero now. I’m just starting to figure about if this is the way to take my 3D printing to the next step? Is the market ready?

Ive got some reviews now after some orders where friends have ordered stuff, but at the moment I can’t even find my hub in the list? Whats wrong here? Could anyone see if you can find my hub (oneaday’s hub) if you type in “Örnbacken” in sweden as location? (thats my street), something is fishy… The change I’ve made is that I’ve recreated my printer since the Original Prusa i3 MKII was added?
