Has anyone bought FlashForge Creator Pro through Alibaba? Does it work? Did you run into any problems? The prices are half the prices from http://www.ff3dp.com , the original website. It is very tempting.

not reseller. if price too low, it might be a scam trader.
Hi,
Without wanting to openly advertise our services, we have had customers buying from china directly and then finding themselves stuck when they inevitably require technical support. The advantages of buying from a local reseller, is that you’ll also get a warranty, tech support and access to spare parts and accessories without prohibitive shipping costs. At Robosavvy, we offer 12 month warranty, unlimited tech support and are based in london.

offer the creator pro 2015 model at just 799.00GBP with 1 year EU warranty and tech support, vat free sales for EU business customers UPS standard shipping, much better than being left with a vat bill from china and non existent tech support
Which supplier did you buy from?

I looked at that but instead bought the Powerspec Pro from Microcenter. http://www.microcenter.com/product/435491/3D\_Pro It is a private label Flashforge Creator Pro with a list price of $800. Is a fantastic printer and as far as I can tell an exact knockoff of the Creator Pro. I don’t do many 2 color prints but love having 2 colors always loaded to quickly switch back and forth. If you don’t have a microcenter near you reach out to me and I might pick one up for you and ship as long as you insure the package.
Hey! Last year I bought a flashforge dreamer from 3Dexpert in aliexpress.com, and everything was excellent. The only issue was a mistreat in customs, but that’s out of control of the seller. Now, the half price could be a scam, unless your are treating with the factory. I think, you should do research before you buy.

I had purchased one through Amazon, I got the Flashforge Creator Dual and it works great. There is plenty of documentation to get you up and running and everything you need is right in the package. Just update your software, firmware and you are ready to get started, but follow the instructions they are well written but read through first then go back and reread because I could tell it was written by a someone who’s English is a second language but they did pretty good. If you wing it you will miss some less obvious instructions which are critical so read first it’s not hard and you will be up and running in an hour or two. Also check the Flashforge forums (Flashforge 3D Creator forum.) if you need a community to answer more questions or reply to me and I will answer to the best of my knowledge.

I bought the creator 2, which is the single extruder one, a misnomer I know. I bought it straight from the ff3d website and and I was impressed; They got it out of china and to my door step within two weeks. Without me having to pay any import taxes. Also their service was great and they provided me with all of the tracking information I needed (I was very weary when I bought mine)
Mine had some assembly required but it was just a couple of screws to attach the print head and I had to turn my power supply over to American voltage standards. Its set to 225 by default which I think is the European Standard. and they send more than enough replacement parts in case you need them, like two whole bags of extra nuts and bolts and things.
I don’t know if this true for some of their other machines but the calibration cube that ships on the sd card isn’t a great slice so you’ll probably think it’s messing up. I when ran the calibration cube print I can only best describe it as false air printing. But that was the only real snag I ran into.
hope this helps
If it helps, the FF Creator Pro, along with the WANHAO Duplicator and a number of others, are Makerbot Replicator dual clones. There’s been a number of revisions since which they all seem to pickup off each other but aside from the support and quality of the parts used, there’s very little difference between them.
flashforge dreamer, creator pro and wanhao D4x,D4s, D5smini, D5s and coming soon the new i3 are all available in the UK from www.technologyoutlet.co.uk, with UK support and UPS shipping all over the EU, if you are EU based business we will not charge VAT you will also not pay any taxes and your shipping costs will be a lot less than china, We buy these buy the container so you would find our prices really aggressive and competitve compared to china thanks
