Whenever I try to start a print, approximately the first three seconds of the actual print doesn’t extrude. I’ve tried ABS and PLA in the left and right extruders, and it hasn’t made a difference. The nozzles aren’t clogged because, during the Pre-extrusion, it prints fine. It has also skipped a small portion of the first layer on a different section. I’ve tried to level the bed as much as I can and nothing’s worked. Thanks!
Have you tried to print a small piece in different sections of the bed ? See if all of them start the same ?

What are your Temps? Maybe they been bumping up just a couple of degrees?

Printing skirts will definitely help with this, I also always print at least two. Even if the nozzle isn’t clogged, it can take a few seconds for the filament to get going. Extruding 10cm of filament before the print starts can help too.

Turn your skirt layers on with 3mm separation.
I always print at least 2 skirts before the print starts.
I would also make sure the extrurder gear is clean as it may be slipping on the filament.

The purge at the beginning of the print is designed to extract any plastic that had sat in your extruder during heat up, and remove any air pockets, etc., and to resolve any dripping that occured. However, the long quick purge often expels more than a retraction can pull.
So a skirt is designed to make sure your extruder is full and ready to go when a print begins.

Your issue is normal. During warm-up your nozzle weeps. It takes 3 sec to replace what weeped out. Printing a skirt solves this. In flashprint, activate the pre extrusion.

I’ve tried printing with skirts before but with no luck, I’ll try to print with them once more and I’ll post what happens. Thanks!
Also agree on the skirts. I do 2-4 loops depending on the print and what I am after. It also is a good indicator of how the first layer is going to start out.
Thanks for all the help! I’ve fixed the problem by doing a pre-extrusion, I was in fact experiencing “weeping”. Thanks for all of the advice!
