I DL’ed 3.10 flash print with high hopes of being able to print to my creator pro printer. Install was seemingly normal, but when I hit “print”, there is no “print” button in the dialog box that usually shows the stats on how much material and print time.
Also, when I select the “creator pro” as my printer, there is no option to try to connect to the printer.
Any one know what I am missing?
Thanks,
David

Were you using a different slicer before?
There is no option to connect directly to the printer via USB. Save the .x3g file to an SD card and print that way. Much better anyway.
That makes sense.
Thank no you for the reply.
would be nice if it worked like the dreamer, but I will just copy the output file as suggested.

Have a look in the device manager and see if theres an entry for Replicator with a exclamation mark. If so try installing the latest makerbot desktop version. Run the installation as administrator to make sure the drivers install correctly then try FlashPrint again. You may hhave to unplug and re-plug the usb connection to the machine.
Hello Miavator,
i was using the old maker bot type application before. It works well enough and merging two objects for simultaneous printing is easier there, but if I want to just lose something up and hit “print” like the dreamer, then flash print is pretty straight forward.
Hello modfab,
i was was able to download the new firmware to creator through flash print so it would appear that the connection exists. However, if flash print can not yet send g code right to the creator, then I can understand that. I just need to connect the ad card interface to the computer and store it there.
not as convenient, but not terrible.
Told by FF that FP wont connect with USB and to use SD card but I am not given that option and WIFI wont work…Any more info>???
Hello
How do you connect to SD when there is no option?
