Please help!
I just printed something on my M3D Printer, I did not use blue painters tape. The object feels pretty attached, any help?

Hey there,
You could try freeze spray but it really depends what surface you’ve printed on. A palette knife could come in useful, or failing that, a wallpaper scraper. My method of last resort is to give it a really good spray with freeze around the bottom edge and thump the end with something heavy, like the heal of my hand. Always feels like I’m gonna throw the print bed outta whack but it never does! At least with my Flashforge, it seems to stand up to that kinda abuse very well.

Just use a knife to pry up a corner and pull. Should pop right out.

That’s good, lol some of my prints start to peel off before they are finished!
I find x-y prints is with a big foot print, are not sticking well towards the front…
ABS sticks much harder than PLA, but most of the time I can get things off either with my fingers, sometimes with help of blunt flat blade kitchen knife to ease up the edge and get it to peel off. Just try a knife or spatula edge…
What always works for me is using a (old) bank/credit/member card and using a fingernail to pry up a corner enough to push the credit card underneath. After that it’s easy to push the card in further underneath which will lift the print off the bed.

Just pry it carefully from the buildtak with a sharp knife. Swiss Army knife works just fine for me.
What software version are you using?
The beta version for windows.
At this point they are all beta. I found the latest one from their drop box work best

hello, i also sometimes have this problem. just use a small spatula or a common scalpel/blade and pry off your model from the printer bed. i now use blue tape and the model comes easier.
it should not be a problem, just use the spatula and use it as a lever on a model section. start from there and keep prying off moving on the perimeter of the model to loose it from the printer bed.

Try prying it off with a card if not try a wallpaper scrapper. And if you have a removable bed then put it in a freezer. Hope this helps
My point was that at one point there’s a version that makes everything stick like crazy. So it worked a little too well. Raft is unseperable from both model and buildtak… So newer version works better
For some stubborn prints, take the build plate off and put it in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes and then try prying. Careful, I have gouged the buildtak on my M3D printer just prying. I do agree with you that the newest software does make the part really stick.
Compressed air in the can usually works the best for when this happens to us. Hold the can upside down and give it some good sprays around the edges. This causes a change in thermal equilibrium and the plastic will contract from the glass surface.
