I’m using a Replicator 2 at my local library. I printed 4 items at one time. It’s printing the models just fine. The issue is that when it moves from one model to the next it lays out a string of filament between the models. Towards the end, the two tallest models where all that was left to finish. It left so much filament between the models it ruined the ones it had finished.
Does anyone know of a solution to this issue?
retraction and lower temps
The problem is either 1) over extrusion or 2) not enough retraction.
Decrease the temp by 5C and try again. If retraction is the issue, the print will be better.
Just decreasing the temp can “fix” retraction, but there are several reason why. There are settings in the custom profiles to decrease retraction but it is complex to test.
Check the filament diameter (with calipers if you have them) and adjust the filament setting for issue #1.
If you don’t have calipers increase the filament setting from 1.7x up by a few 0.01’s and try again.

if you are using simplify3D have a look at Print Quality Guide | Simplify3D Software
Try a retraction distance of around 5mm at 60mm/s retraction speed and lower your temp by 5°
Print some small testobjects (like several small cubes next to each other) to make sure you solved the issue.
Check retracion settings are set to
6.5mm distance
and
30mm/s speed. 
I told the library personal the fixes listed above and they are going to do some testing
