I am using Simplify3D for the laser and for the 3D printer, just for the laser I force the Z axis to the proper focal point and then disable.

Can you fill me in on the genral settings. I am having issues getting it set up.I am using simplify3d but have been printing with an Anet A8 single extruder, this dual one for somedumb reason has me confounded

Well, I have attached my .fff file here which works for me. You will have to rename the file to .fff and then import it into S3D. Should work though.

This printer is amazing. I ordered it on amazon. It gets 5 stars across the board on Amazon’s comment section. The manual and troubleshooting guide are very helpful, and you will get any update on their group chat (only open to users), where you can ask the questions or share your printing experience with other users .

Finally i find ordering BIBO 3D printer on aliexpress will be cheaper. I will make the second purchase on their aliexpress store.

What settings is this file supposed to affect? I imported into S3D and try to print with my bibo touch and it was whack. No good. 230 degrees for PLA? No way

It was meant for the scripts, of course you’ll have to change your temp settings. Changing extruder Temps is fairly easy in S3D.

I just assembled my BIBO the Heating Bed and Extruders do not heat. I have gone over the assembly instructions but see nothing wrong. any suggestions?

Hi, sorry for the trouble. The cause may be the thermistor plug is loose on the motherboard after transportation. Just replug it and the printer will run correctly.

I have had my BIBO 2 touch for about a month now and I can’t seem to get a good print. I’m using Simplify 3D. I know it has to be a simple setting. Could you share an fff file with the right settings? I have tried everything I could think of but nothing is working.

OK here is the issue with the new settings. My extrusion is very thin, laying down very little filament. I tried to increase the extrusion multiplier but still the same. Very thin layers that separate. Iv’e adjusted the temps, the infill and all I get is hair size extrusion.

This is several layers. Something is not right. Any ideas?

Maybe you have settings for your nozzle diameter wrong?

I am sure we can all agree that 3D printers are awesome. I mean we have a machine that create just about anything you want, and can do it fairly easily. However, one thing I rarely see in the growing personal 3D printer industry is a printer that sets itself apart from the others.

Most of them are pretty similar with metal frames, one or two extruders, and a touch screen control panel. But rarely do we see a printer that has a feature like no other. I don’t know, maybe something with laser engraving capabilities is something some of us would enjoy.

If you are like me and would love to have a laser engraver built-in to your printer, then we are in luck! A Chinese 3D printer manufacturer, Bibo, offers a really cool printer with all the major features we love. It even has the capabilities for laser engraving! I guess dreams really do come true.
