Hello everyone hopefully some one can help me?? SO when i start a print the printer will do a few layers and then jump to the left sometimes a little and sometimes a lot. It is always random when this happens. What do i do?
If you don’t mind me asking are you using stock firmware? And also what are you using to do your slicing? Final question is what slicing settings do you have?
Your wiring has gone bad. There’s a break in one of the optical sensor wires going to the x axis causing the end stop to trigger randomly. Do a continuity check to find the bad wire and replace it. While you’re at it reroute the harness and run it out from below the drip tray. You can find this mod on thingiverse.

I am not using the stock firmware. I am using Reptier and using Slic3r to do my slicing. As for settings i dont remember off the top of my head but i can post them when i get home later tonight. Thank you for your help i will test my wires as soon as i get home.

I have had the same issue and it was a wiring issue, i found that unplugging and re-plugging all the wires for the axis fixed the issue i think it was the stepper motor connector was loose.
