Hello all  I am a newbie and really need some input. I purchased my CTC in April 2016, and I noticed this week prints that were once successful in the past starting to fail. I tried different files and all the same result. The print gets about 3-4 layers in and then the print fails. It starts skipping areas and tries to create a hairball. So I turned off the machine … Checked all connections and made sure everything was properly bolted and connected. That is when I discovered the way the washer above the right extruder had cut through one of the red wires (see photo). So this makes sense on why I am having issues, there appears to be a messed up connection. Also please note I did not upgrade or modify anything with CTC. My question is this something that I can fix by replacing the wire, splicing it? I am a newbie so I can do basic troubleshooting but not anything too extensive. Or should I contact the manufacturer to return? Anyone ever dealt with this? Help is appreciated. Thank you so much.

Ill do what I can to help, can you tell where the wire is going? It looks like the wire coating terminates there so it should be close the wire endpoint. If you can give me a little more context as to where this is in the machine I could help troubleshoot a bit more. Specifically it would be helpful to know where the wire comes from and where it looks like its going. thanks!
