This is a simple question, but I got a CTC 3D Printer and there are two boxed items under the Build Plate. I cannot see any way to get them out, so I just want to know do I just select Level Build Plate to move the build plate to the top, or is there another way to make the build plate move up?
I don’t want to damage anything before I even get started, but the instructions are hopeless and there is nothing mentioned about these two boxes or how to remove them.

I’m moving the build plate by hand quite a lot, you should not do that too fast however as the step motors can induce a current into the circuit when beeing moved and you certainly don’t want that to get too big.

+1 Just gently push it up. The LCD Might light up. That means you’re going too fast…

Leave the printer switched off and slowly turn the Z-axis manually (by hand).
Gently lift up the build plate while the power is OFF. You can also turn the lead screw that lifts the build plate.
Hi…
Turn the Z axis threaded rod… manually.

Thanks everyone, that is a great help and I have removed the boxes from under the build plate.
CTC also sent me a reply after I did this. They have a video showing how to unpack and setup, which would have been nice on the SD card they send with the printer, or a piece of paper with that link.
So all good on this now.
Deleted. You got it done.
