I have this file and i want to convert it to a solid in 123d design but it gives an error, what should i do ive tried netfabb help plz!

Try using Meshmixer to convert the mesh to solid. It will import STL and OBJ files. You may lose some detail with the solid conversion, but usually you can adjust the conversion settings and get a good result.

Go to the Edit menu and select Make Solid. It will default to the Fast method and will show you a preview. If it looks OK, click Accept and you will have a new solid body and the original mesh will be hidden in the feature tree.

If the solid isn’t good enough, you can try the Accurate method, click update to see what the solid will look like. You can adjust the Solid Accuracy, Mesh Density, etc. until you get a result you like, then click Accept.

There’s more to it than I explained here and I am learning as I play with the software. Unfortunately the documentation is pretty sparse.
