With all the fireworks behind us we celebrate that today we’ve passed the 10,000 printers mark! A big thank you goes to all you Hubs who are making distributed manufacturing a reality! 
Here are some of the biggest milestones of 2014:
- In one year we have grown from 2,500 to 10,000 1 3D printers, making 3D Hubs the worlds largest and fastest growing production network. Thanks to you, over 1 Billion people now have access to a 3D printer within 10 miles of their home.
- 222 3D printing events were organized by the community, led by 3D Hubs Mayors across all continents. Over 8.000 people with a passion for 3D printing came together in 76 different countries.
- We’ve partnered with companies such as Autodesk and Fairphone, a leading European smartphone manufacturer. In the first few months their customers ordered 4,317 smartphone cases that were made by 192 different Hubs, making it the most successful usecase of distributed manufacturing yet.
- After closing a $4.5M Series A round we’ve expanded our team to 25 people spread across our offices in Amsterdam and New York.
