I have been using multiple different cad software’s to design things that I want to print but the printer recognises nothing but the sample. I have tried multiple ways, in fact the poor quality XYZ software won’t even print anything. I am sure there is a way to print in .stl and I just don’t know it, does anyone know how to do so? Thanks -Perry

Please upload a STL you made with any CAD program, so we can see what might be the problem. and tell a little bit more about the type of printer and your workflow to get that sample printed.
are you using a slicer to convert it to a gcode? or are you trying to print the .stl?
Yes you’ll need to save or export the object as an .STL and import that into the XYZ Ware, there you can slice and export it for printing.
There could also be an issue with your STL, I can look at it and make sure the file is fine to print.
I only use 3DS Max for modelling as that’s my job so I can’t give much help regarding other software.
