hi all just bort the new ctc 3d printer

and all i get in s**t printer no mater what i do im using pla bed 40c ex 226c

and now tearing my hair out with this printer

Hi,

I’ve just recently purchased this printer myself and it does take a bit of dialling in to get it to work. Where abouts are you?

One thing to bare in mind is the temperature sensing on these printers is rubbish - The bed needs a different sensor fitting to get any where near accurate readings. I print ABS with a 110c bed (with better sensor so it is actually nearer to 90c) and the head at 250c!!! (again, nearer to 220 according to 2 thermocouples I’ve used to verify temperature.

I’m actually in the process of making my own modded version of the sailfish firmware to try and take the temperature calibration a bit closer to reality.

There are quite a few parts that are worth upgrading / changing which really improve - most of which can be found on thingiverse.

hi thanks for helping i figured out it was the temperature last night i bort this printer knowing having to up upgraded

its the only way I could afford it just upgraded the Y Axis Rod bracket and Igus Drylin RJ4JP 1 a lot better and quiet

would recommend to anyone let me no how sailfish firmware gose
