Hi
I’m interested in having a Garmin Edge 1000 mount that holds both the GPS computer and DI2 junction box. This can be installed onto the bike stem as a 5mm or 10mm spacer. The weight and connection of both items require consideration, is this a possibility ? Can provide further details to help get this started.

Hi Merv, I do offer profesional 3d designing, as well as 3d printing in a wide variety of materials (and colors). For example carbon fibre blended with an high quality industrial plastic. That material is excellent for heavy duty tasks and will most likely survive a drop, if you have a crash with your bike. Hi Merv,
I personally designed and printed a bike mount for for my Iphone 6 on my racebike. I made it minimalistic keeping the weight in mind while keeping it stiff. I did not optimise it any further being concerned about its static and fatigue performance due to the fact that’s its impossible to determine the print its actual mechanical properties (unless you destroy it in testing of course). I could give it a go at modelling one if you want. I would try to have a go at modelling it in tinkercad if you want to try it yourself first. I can also prototype it in PLA and ABS and I am located near Birmingham and could post it to you. Message me if you are interested.
