BFB 3D Touch Conversion?

I have a BFB 3D Touch that when acquired was slightly taken apart and I have found that the printer is discontinued and is end to end on the software. I want to see if another board would work with the motors and how hard this would be to do?

I have just finished converting my 3D Touch to MKS SBase board with touchscreen mounted in the same place as the original touch screen.

converted to 1.75mm using bulldog XL extruder and e3d hotend.
