Dear 3d printing Jewelers

i’m new at 3D printing and finally i’m willing to buy a 3D printer very soon.

i am a jewelry designer and model maker for about 25 years, after i made a big research on the best 3D printers in 2017 for jewelry with the best resolution and printing space i found out B9 v1.2 & Titan 2HR .

could you please advice me which is the best for jewelry finish, fast and less headache?

and which one have better cast able resin that works with old school casting system

your help is so much appreciated

I have exact same question as you are. I even requested sample models to do some casting. B9 casting was good but low resolution, however now they come up with high resolution machine but smaller build platform and very expensive. B9 is strong machine and has great user base though.

Kudo’s resin was no good for casting but they came up with new brand and will send me another ring samples (My own stl file design) to cast. I am leaning toward Kudo Titan 2 HR for the price and resolution, however user base is very thin and I did not find any actual printing video yet in Youtube or not much talking about Kudo in 3D community which make me nervous to jump in. I will try to cast the ring samples with their new resin line (Very cheep $85/.50L) and see if it cast good.
