Robotic lawnmowers are always of interest to me.
But they are pretty complicated. Maybe, if you purchase the plans through the site you referred to , you would be willing to share the results?
The design of this particular mower is of very simple design. Printing the parts out of ABS would be pretty easy to design even if the instructions are not very clear.
I own the design, for me to print it would be around $420. Other Hubs are cheaper the cheapest price I saw (local to NC) was about $250.
I think the printable design benefits the most if you have a 3d printer. But if those prices sound reasonable go for it. You should note that the design recommends 80% infill on all the parts which is much higher than standard. Also about half the parts need to be ABS.
