Is there any way to raise the extruder from the Home All position in the on screen menu?
I am new to 3D printing and have just built my printer and have run a couple of test prints that turned out OK, much better than I had expected.
I would like to be able to move the “Z” carriage up clear of the print bed without having to manually winding the stepper screws then having to measure the height every time.
Not a world shattering problem, but thought I would ask - still coming to grips with the controls.

Yes, you can 
In the same menu where you can home all, there should be the menu entry „Z Pos Fast“. This is to move the z axis, just scroll down in the menu
Or use the pronterface program on your pc

on the screen go to position go down to z position fast press the up button this is the manual control

Hi I had a similar problem being that at the start of loading Cura I put the wrong machine name in. Hope this helps.
