I just came across the Anet A8 in the store of 3DPrinting.com, here’s the product page link: https://store.3dprinting.com/collections/buy-3d-printer/products/anet-a8
I’ve had good experience with them in the past, bought a RepRap Guru V2 there. Very helpful and good service, fast delivery. This Anet printer looks more or less the same and I hear good things about it. That’s pretty great for that price.

I bought one from Gearbest as well, the day after Thanksgiving as a christmas gift during a flash sale. Today, the day before Christmas Eve… I find that they have canceled the order as well. I checked, and of course they have them “in stock” at a higher price now.
I will never buy from gearWORST again. EVER.
I suggest you guys discontinue working with GearBest. (see above to OP)
hi, this is Ferne from gearbest, sorry for the bad service, could you send me your order number? I will check for you.
This is my FB page,Redirecting... pls feel free to contact me: )
I ran into a Gearbest flash sale for 120 euro’s with shipping, but there is a big chance of extra import costs.
Also the postalservice here charges quite a lot of handlingfee.
120 euro’s is a nice amount, but including taxes, import and handlingfee’s I’m nearing the 200 euro.
I’m in the Netherlands and on a local secondhand website (biggest here) a guy with a few 1 and 2 month(s) old accounts offers a discount for gearbest.
He also claimes all import costs (when applicable) are refunded by him.
It all sounds a bit sketchy to me; Does anyone here have experience with such offers via Gearbests “partnership members”?
I’ve been working with Gearbest, Anet, Tevo, Buying, reselling, reviewing and handling issues as a middle man when a club member has any issue.
Have heard the cancelled order complaint a few times but each issue was handled the day we contacted GB.
When you buy from GearBest one positive is you get double support. GB actually offers after sales product support ALONG with the Brand Warranty and support like Anet. I’ve dealt with both to handle these problems a few times and every time a satisfactory result was arranged. When you deal with a reseller for GB you sometimes get three support agents. I help all the time.
The seller (GB) can’t do anything about import taxes, tariffs or your countries postal handling fees, you should be aware of those expectations.
Ferne from GB was watching and following all these threads jumping in to help ASAP (2 days after this post). I think that’s pretty good. Not many other companies would even care or read these to take care of customers. I’m sorry but we’ve found a few reasons orders get cancelled were user problems.
Bank processing taking too long, Insufficient funds, Paypal credit limit exceeded and yes some are in-stock problems just like many other dealerships but none are this large or most don’t offer these deals. They have set-up a EU and USA warehouse to save everyone $$$ and ship time also this year.
