Hello, I purchased my Anet A8 a while back, built it and then bought some upgrades (Mosfet, better belts, etc.) But after building it as it came i could not get it to work, life got to me for a while and I’m just now getting back to getting it to work. I installed the Mosfet but nothing else at this point and still cant get it to print. I’m printing PLA at 190degrees
I took the fan off and watched that the filament extruder motor works fine, it pushed the filament into the hole to go to the nozzle. Ive already replaced the nozzle and threaded tube from the motor to the nozzle. When I first replace the nozzle and it heats up i can push the PLA through just fine, but when i start the print by the time it gets to the print itself after auto leveling it no longer seams to be able to push the filament out of the nozzle, as if its clogged.
Anyone else have issues like this? Any help or tips are appreciated!

did it work with original configuration?
Try using higher temperatures, 195 or 200 degree.
Also check if the path of the filament is straight, even a little displacement of the gear of the extruder to the nozzle can cause this phenomena.
Another thing: calibrate your extruder steps and I would also recommend to flash the latest Skynet3D firmware to the Anet.
You must have the sky net firmware installed?
can you control the extruder from Pronterface?
You don’t need the Syknet3D firmware, but there are lot of improvements and bug fixes in it, so I would recommend it.
Also you learn how to flash new software on your printer also learn how to change the variables and recompile the software, this is needed to set the steps/mm for the extruder directly in the firmware (of course you can set it also in the printer display).
Nevertheless, you can directly control your software with Pronterface. You can connect to your printer, heat it up to 200 degree and manually extrude 5mm. While the printer is extruding, have an eye on the filament: is it smoothly guided, is the extruder moving for the correct amount of mm, is the filament bent in some way, etc…

I do have Skynet installed but no clue what pronterface is, but from these other replys looks like ill be getting that to test things out though!

Ill try some higher temps, maybe the nozzle is just cool enough to solidify you think?
And as best i can tell its as straight as i can get it, idk how else i could get it straighter.
