I’m looking into buying a 3D printer with a budget between $3,000 - $6,000. Is there one someone would recommend? My top (3) right now is the following
1. Airwolf
2. Fusion3 F400
2. (tied) Makerbot Replicator Z18
3. Lulzlbot Taz 6 Lulzlbot
My favorite is primarly the Fusion because of the build size. I need something that can do 12-18 in X, Y, and Z
any input is appricated

Hey @jcamper , we’ll be launching our 2017 3D Printer Guide in 2 weeks! It’s based on reviews by owners themselves with prices and comprehensive information to help you decide which printer to buy. You can also check out last year’s guide for some more insight here .

Do you have any feedback on the Fusion3 400 series yet?

If I had that kind of money to spend, it would definitely be the Rova4D Printer . 12" x 12" x 19" volume with 0.01mm capability and full color.
To keep it a little cheaper, I would pick the Lulzbot Taz 6 printer. This because I have experience with the Taz 5 and it is a solid performer. Maybe get the spare extruder with the 0.35 nozzle though.

Hi @jcamper what about the Raise3D N2 Plus? Shop High Quality 3D Printers, Filament, and More | Raise3D
Been reading/watching a lot of good stuff about it, looks very impressive and it’s at the bottom end of your price range - $3299.
You might also want to look at the new Ultimaker 3 Extended.
BCN3D Sigma… It’s on the low end of your budget and has consistently been rated top 3 printers for like 6 months…
Cripes, no way would I spend that money on a Rova4D. It’s not enclosed, the sample prints have terrible print quality, it’s using long bowden cables from the extruders (which again means bad quality). I’d wait till version 2 on that machine.
anything but a makerbot, its overpriced and poor quality extruders

I wouldn’t look at the Airwolf at all, every print seems to have bad layer alignment with their machines, and they don’t seem to showcase any print at 100um in any tradeshow I’ve visited. They seem to just show off how many wheels they can make with different filaments, and even then the layer alignment is terrible. With a 3k budget you could buy 3+ Prusa i3 MK2 and have different prints going on which would make it much more faster to iterate or produce.
With a 3K+ budget you could go for a SLA style but I suspect the size of printing may be involved with that decision.
