3D printer SkyOne - review

I would like to share a review of a SCARA 3D printer - SkyOne.

It is compact, silent, precise and shows goot repetability. It is worth to take your attention.

That’s a new printer design. It looks a lot like the M2 MakerGear 3D printer.

I like the concept of the SCARA arm, do you know what the exact benefit are over a traditional Cartesian xyz 3D printer?

Also the sample part looks amazing!

Hello!

The main benefits of SCARA mechanics are small size and silent work.

This printer is SkyOne. Overall dimensions of our printer is 400x260x200mm. It is now placed on the usual developer’s worktable and really doesn’t take much place. We use it for prototyping. And the rest of time print some stuff just for pleasure. The printing area is enough for the most of our items. It is 140x190x200mm.

And about SkyOne - it has double metal arms, and the stiffness is enough even for drilling and milling.

This is intresting design. Why these printers is better than traditional Cartesian? Does it have higher speed of the printing? Or the quality of printing is better?

It doesn’t have belts or other stretching details, that allows to get nice repetability of printing. Printing quality is good - you can make your own decision on printing examples on the web site 3D printing examples | Buy 3D printer SkyOne or instagram https://www.instagram.com/3dlaboratorio.es/.

And printing quality doesn’t fluctuate from one printing to another - it is very stable. And what is nice - no service or maintenance needed. One calibration in few week - it is the most service, that should be done.

And it is silent and doesn’t take much place on a table.
