Hey guys!! We’re a day away from our first meet up! I hope you’re all as excited as Luis and I. We’ve put together a meetup invitation copy, and would love for you Hubs to sign up (so we can gauge participation moving forward). Also, please share through your networks. We hope to have a great turnout! If you want to bring a printer there’s plenty of space… but defiantly bring some awesome prints to show off.
Also, I’ve been promoting this event to many people in the general public who I think would benefit from the 3D Hubs platform that just haven’t been exposed to the resource… and I’ve heard a significant demand for CAD designers. If you are an experienced CAD modeler you’re probably going to be fielding a lot of questions (Tom, Tim, Jonathan…)
We’re going to do them monthly. We’ll be changing locations each time though, to collectively help improve our networks and reach. Luis and I will continue to select locations that in some way provide value back to us as Hubs, so coming every month will be highly recommended!
Luis and I are excited to get everyone together tonight! Just as an update, the First Friday Block Party has been postponed. We’re still going to meet, however.
I would like to thank Brad and Luis for organizing the meetup at the Sprint Accelerator yesterday. I had a great time the meeting other hub members in the area. I look forward to the next meetup.
