For a second year running, Protolabs Network has earned a place in the prestigious Deloitte Technology Fast 50 awards, which ranks the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands. This year, Protolabs Network took the 10th spot.

We’re very proud to be featured in this list alongside world-renowned innovators like MessageBird and Picnic. Despite the challenges of 2020, we’re humbled to continue growing and expanding thanks to our loyal, devoted customers.

Quick background on The Deloitte Fast 50 Technology awards

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 awards is one of the most well-respected awards a tech company can win. It’s an elite subset of the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 awards, ranking companies on a regional level that have demonstrated ambition, creative execution and forward-thinking business strategy.

Our number 10th spot highlights Protolabs Network as one of the fastest growing companies in the world. It’s also a welcome sign in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, as engineers see the growing value of access to on-demand manufacturing, possible through a distributed, quality-vetted network of suppliers.

1136% revenue growth in the last 3 years

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards takes revenue into account so our 1136% growth between 2016 and 2019 puts us in the top tier. Innovation is another key criterion - a clear focus for Protolabs Network as we continue to revolutionize overseas quality control and drastically reduce pre-production time through our highly automated processes and user-centric platform.

Our cross-docking logistics model removes all friction points, like QC and customs duties, when sourcing overseas

2020 marks the turning point for antiquated supply chains

COVID-19 has thrown the spotlight on the vulnerabilities and inefficiencies of global supply chains. Since the founding of Protolabs Network, we’ve been working on transforming worldwide production to make it more reliable, more easily accessible and local, where it makes sense economically.

Although this year has brought with it unexpected challenges, the inflexibility of supply chains is something that can no longer be ignored, and it’s clear engineering businesses are looking for alternatives. Protolabs Network is perfectly positioned to fill this need and it’s exciting to play a part in this world change.
