Protolabs Network celebrated our 10th year of operations on 3 April. That means we’ve officially entered a decade of giving engineers access to the manufacturing technologies that transform ideas into reality – and it’s been quite the journey. Here are some of the moments we’re most proud of.
From humble beginnings to disrupting the industry
In the 10 years since Protolabs Network was established as Protolabs Network, we’ve produced more than 12 million parts and worked with some of the most innovative companies in the world. Along the way, we’ve celebrated dozens of highlights.
Our founders published the bestselling 3D Printing Handbook in 2017. Growing from a 3D printing platform, we ventured into CNC machining and then sheet metal fabrication. We set up cross-docks in Amsterdam and Chicago to centralize our quality control standards, and in 2021 we became a Protolabs company to bring engineers the most comprehensive digital manufacturing service.
